I reported earlier that tablets are found through 'z' deep underground under the floor. Grinding building doesn't help. Saving and reloading however will make the tablet "re-surface" (which is weird to say the least). So, at least now I've found a workaround to this bug which is preventing progression because all tablets are unreceachable under the floor !
