There should be a basic battery and an advanced battery. The basic battery can be like the one now, with up to five expansions for depth of storage. The advanced should have either more outputs on itself or add more outputs per expansion module. This will save resources and space to avoid the annoyance of transformers for inputs from a solar array -> battery bank -> transformers to distribute power to multiple places.
