So, to test a theory, I started a brand new game and the FPS are back to 60+ FPS. I am going to test further if it is the explored world vs built objects that are reducing FPS the longer I play. I would expect that the number of objects are reducing the FPS, but I am curious if it is simply the explored world that is causing issues as well since that also adds POI elements. Another game I will start I will not explore, but build lots of objects to see what kind of impact that has as well. Seems like some basic statistics any game developer would have their own QA team testing to resolve before even getting an EA version out.
