I believe that if grinding of structures would take longer time, you could give out more resources from grinding, and make it fit better the resources it would require to build said structure. You could give more electronics etc. Nuts and bolts are something that usually takes most damage in disassembly so that could have something to it. Structures could take alot more nuts and bolts, also with pipes and steel plates there could be other iron structures like beams or something. Steel plates and small pipes are something that im throwing away since there just simply is too many of those. If grinding would take longer, i could have more balanced resources from disassembled structures, and requirement of iron would increase if you'd need to print bolts etc. more iron would make it useful, and maybe even necessary to mine, now it's completely useless since almost everything that uses iron are something that i have too much of. Also, at first there were circuit boards in the pumps and ECU's that are meant to be disassembled, i think those has been removed. I think it would be great that when you have it in the machine, you can take it off if it is in the hatch, but if you won't take it out of the thing that you are grinding, it will experience some damage. Also the objects in the structures that get's destroyed within the structures, if those would fall to the ground, and maybe take some damage, decreasing the resource gain, it would give a little but impactful effect on how this game is played. You gain most of the resources when you are careful and grind them all, but if you wish to go the easy way, you experience some loss. All of this would make the game progression a little slower, but i think it would make it also abit better. Also, now that mining seems almost useless, unless i need silicone or aluminium, or level up mechanics, it's affecting a big part of the game. Just giving a players eye to the experience.
