There should be an option to reduce the number of time stopping obstacles. When a dust storm, dust devil, or solar storm hit, basically I just stand there since I can't sleep and wait for it to pass. I literally walk into my kitchen IRL and do the dishes. It's just an annoying forced pause in the game I could do without.
