Temperature doesn't properly display inside the base. Leaving and re-entering seems to reset it back to 21C, but leaving the base for too long seems to drop its temperature and start killing plants "probably" due to low-level base degredation; base degredation happens in clear/good conditions, requiring someone to be at the base at all times to maintain repairs. That's bad for solo games.
