its quite stupid... when you select a power/water cable on toolbelt and then select other item - cable fells down to the ground. this is stupid because if it is not stupid why then other items you select on toolbelt do not fall down when you de-select them? if you want such stupid behaviour lets be consistent then and make every tool fall to the ground when deselected on a toolbelt :) or... I hope you can just fix that... ;)
