The message "suit pressurized, helmet sealed" is said before the helmet is actually on. It's not so bad except that if you are in an airlock it can sometimes show you just putting your helmet on after the airlock is open. Suit pressure is based on the spoken message, and not what you actually see the character doing so its safe, but visually it's disconcerting :)
