Under certain yet-to-be-determined conditions, inventory interfaces of objects may get stuck in what appears like a "being used" state even after the player ceases interacting with them: The objects will continue to show their inventory even while in regular 3D view, and refuse any further attempts to initiate interaction with them.
Seen this twice now: Once on a storage box, and once on a battery charging rack.
Saving and reloading seems to heal the issue.
