I am going up the levels too fast. Slow down the tech acquisition and roll out meteor defense early but add several upgrades that increase perhaps magazine size and rate of fire. Because right now, if I know that a meteor shower is inbound, I dismantle my base and rebuild after as the consequences are too great. But I am getting stuff faster than I can enjoy each stage and totally enraged by the meteor showers that destroy everything save my technology. Oh, BTW, the game really needs a pressurised outhouse as part of real world processes as an immediate build option.
