So. I noticed that after progressing through the game a bit, after my base had gotten to a certain size, the game seems to render nighttime differently. Dispite not changing my graphics. Its almost like my gamma got turned up and now I can see everything just fine, even at 2am in the morning and I dont need my suit lamp or vehicle headlights or anything. Takes part of the challenge out of the game.
