I feel the landscape could do with some more atmosphere. Dimming the colors, making the sky a bit more red, having odd clouds of dust going across the landscape. Some additional sounds would also be welcome, such as wind, faint breathing in your helmet, the muffling of sounds while outdoors which switches back to normal when pressure is regained. If you'd ever like a piece of amazing reference, the long abandoned game "Take on Mars" is a great example of the color palette and atmosphere that would really take things to another level (and is also one of my favorite games despite being abandoned).
