Hello!
First of all, thank you for the game. I'd like to share some suggestions that, in my opinion, would significantly improve the quality of life and gameplay depth.
Quality of Life Suggestions:
Toggle for Tools: Please add a toggle/hold button option for tools (like the cutter, scanner). It's tiring to hold the mouse button constantly.
Tablet Utility: When tablets are no longer needed for blueprints, it would be great if we could use them as portable "flash drives" (storage). For example, placing one in a specific container could automatically unpack its contents there.
Cutting Speed: The cutting process for objects feels too slow. Please increase the base speed slightly. The speed upgrade at the end of the skill tree comes too late to be useful.
Storage Management: Base storage is an issue. Please either increase the capacity of storage boxes or add a feature to link/merge them into a larger unified storage system.
Gameplay & Balance Suggestions:
Hardcore Mode (Main Suggestion!): I would love to see a dedicated hardcore mode. This mode should remove or severely limit "comfort" items to increase survival challenge. For example: no radiation suit, no cold protection, no jetpack, no vehicle teleportation, limited or manual saves, and no portable fabricators ("flash drives").
Rover Rework (Major Feedback): Currently, the rover feels underpowered and frustrating.
Drill: The drill breaking stones into tiny pieces is extremely inconvenient and annoying. It should yield larger, manageable chunks.
Deconstruction: Why is there no deconstruction mode for the rover? It should be able to break down structures.
Crane Arm: The crane arm is too short. It needs to be 2-3 times longer to be practically useful.
Claw: The claw's grab area is too small. It's often faster to collect resources by hand, which defeats its purpose.
Scanner/Resource Finder: The resource scanning interface is not user-friendly, especially in first-person view. Please implement clear, persistent markers on the terrain (similar to the water scanner) instead of the current vague system.
Interaction Highlights: Regarding the "show interactive elements" setting, please add an option to set a temporary duration (e.g., 5-10 seconds). I often want to quickly highlight objects in my base without keeping the setting permanently "On" (which clutters the screen with UI, like the vehicle battery indicator). A temporary toggle would be perfect.
