When stacked items are used from the Inventory panel, the stack number displayed frequently does not update until the stack is moved, whether manually or by using the Sort function. It does NOT update on simply closing and then re-opening the Inventory window. I've mainly seen it happen with food rations, but have also seen it a time or two on medkits. (second attempt to send, I think the first try glitched, sorry if it doubled)
