I'm Playing on the sandbox easiest level but with the madman no-tech option. I can't make progress on the electricity tech tree - the transformer extension and the medium solar panel techs being particularly important - without the Silicon purification tech that is found in the Chemical tech tree. However the Knowledge/ abandoned tablets section of the tablet indicates that all the chemistry tech has been given to us (and no advancement points for the chemical tree are given). So I'm stuck, unable to get more electriciy into my workshop because I can't expand the ECU and I only have the tech for the small solar panels.
