Power Cables/Cables What really annoys me about cables to this day is when you have power cables assigned to one of your hotkeys (for me, it's key 6). The most annoying thing is when you find and collect power cables, whether they're ones you've installed yourself or ones lying around in abandoned structures or resource drop boxes. As soon as you pick them up, they don't go to the hotkeys you already have assigned. NO, they go to your inventory. This means you HAVE to add them to your existing hotkeys to free up inventory space. Even if you only unplug a power cable to use the plug to charge your suit, as soon as you plug it back in, the previously assigned cable length is reduced, and more power cables end up unnecessarily in your inventory. Instead of checking if they're already assigned to a hotkey, the system doesn't check; they just go straight to your inventory. ... I've gotten used to it, BUT IT'S REALLY ANNOYING. I've already spent over 600 hours in the game, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. It was okay during the Early Access phase, but now I've had enough. It's about time everything assigned to a hotkey was checked first and items were added there BEFORE being stacked again in the main inventory! Thanks
