I'm going to whine a little bit on this topic... Nanotubes, specifically the numbers required to build the rocket! I get that you want people to spend a lot of time playing the game, but... seriously! The ITS Engine Section alone requires 320 Carbon Nanotubes... I, like many I'm sure, played the game at the Colonist level with the intent to try again later as a Madman... but the sheer numbers required for nanotubes becomes exhausting to the point that I am reconsidering not doing a "Madman replay". For what it's worth, I have tons of patience, and I'm pretty sure a lot of the younger gamer population, of which most think 2 minutes to microwave a bag of popcorn is excessive, will not stay the course when they realize how much grinding will be required to finish the rocket.
Just my two cents worth, but I think it would behoove you all to scale down either the numbers required, or perhaps give a 10 to 20 ratio increase in output (1x waste tank, 1x CO2 bottle and 1x methane perhaps returns 10 or 20 nanotubes?). It would still require some grinding, but it would at least reduce the fatigue-factor and not run off prospective "replayers".
I'm sorry that someone had to read my screed, but I really like this game, and look forward to replaying it several times, and exploring different ways to achieve the end result. Thank you for hearing me out.
