The effort is disproportionately high compared to the benefit. - Furthermore, it's not possible to produce larger quantities simultaneously through reactions. Only the amount specified in the recipe is processed. For example, if you want to generate ten times the required amount, you have to wait for 10 reactions, which takes far too long.
