Sorry for the spam, just getting all of my thoughts out this morning. For the life of me I cannot figure out how / why my airlock between my workshop and greenhouse is not pressurised. I've provided PLENTY of electricity and water to the base itself (in excess, just in case) and yet I have to stand for a minute or so between the corridor and the greenhouse. My base is basically set up like this: ramp->airlock->short corridor->airlock->workshop->workshop->four way corridor->greenhouse, airlock->airlock. On the greenhouse I also have an airlock->short corridor->airlock->ramp on the other side. On the first airlock from the four way corridor I have another four way corridor that is set up like this: airlock->four way corridor->bathroom, living pod, airlock->short corridor->airlock->ramp. The third output of the first for way corridor is: four way corridor->airlock->short corridor->airlock->ramp. The entire system stays pressurised no problem, EXCEPT the greenhouse. I am baffled. My suggestion and advice is to bring back damage to the character from falling rocks and also damage from certain storms. Survival games like Icarus, Subsistence, and others have character damage. A game that doesn't have character damage is not a survival game. Regarding vehicles, when the rover falls from a great height from the top of Mount Olympus, the character should die when it explodes or the rover should be destroyed due to the heavy fall. Buildings should sustain damage from tornadoes, and electrical storms should cause damage such as fires. Additionally, batteries like solar panels should be susceptible to damage from storms. Survival means enduring any damage to the character, and that's how a game will be valued as a survival and simulation game. I hope you consider and decide on this. Wanted to drag a cable across the Large Stone Crusher, but when i jumped up on the side of it, i got the message "Not enough cable", even thou i have around 530 Cable on me, and now my hands are "locked". Super slow framerate when traversing the map with the ATV. It is fine within 1500ish of my base, but when transitioning into new areas it drops dramatically making the navigation on the ATV tretcherous at best. That thing is already a death machine with it's squirrley controls and bouncinecess. Adding the framerate problem into the mix makes it an immediate all-stop situation to let things "chill-out" until frames catch up and I can continue my treck. | 41.42 | 2023-05-22 17:58:42 |
