The miner arm won't give me back my container. Also I can't drive the rover because it won't let me drive until the miner arm gives me back my container. Also I had to start again anyway because when I returned to my base, I died. It was at the end of the day, so I had to start the whole day all over again, and now I have to do it again because of another bug. There's plenty of oxygen and pressure in my base, so there was no reason for me to die. | ![]() | 6.00 | 2024-12-28 23:48:23
After interacting with an object's UI, that UI sometimes freezes, remaining open and visible in regular 3D view. Usually, the affected object will be a container, though I've seen it once with a greenhouse Field UI as well. When this happens, saving & loading will "heal" the container's UI, but this seems to be occasionally associated with the object succumbing to "amnesia", apparently forgetting some interactions it had been involved in. Thus, items recently placed into the container may disappear from the game, while items recently taken out of the container may get duplicated by re-appearing in the container. The UI-freezing bug is frequent with this version of the game, and I have now seen it causing "amnesia" twice in this version - once with the Rover's inventory, and once with a freezer's inventory. In my mind, this makes it even worse than previous incarnations of the "inventory amnesia" bug, where "only" Inventory Boxes and ATV boxes seemed to be affected. Now no inventory seems to be safe, except the player's. This "inventory amnesia" is a very frustrating bug (or family of bugs) that has been around for quite a while now, and each time it has me rage-/frustration-quit the game, hoping for it to be fixed in the next update; and it seems that all attempts at tackling this issue have been patchwork, rather than discovering and solving its root cause once and for all. The game's current container inventory system seems to be fundamentally unstable, and no matter how much you reduce the number of scenarios that might topple it over the edge, there may always be one more scenario you haven't addressed, that may still send the whole thing crashing down and cause players to lose valuable items. It seems to me that you really need to replace the whole system with something more robust at its foundation. | ![]() | 29.99 | 2024-12-28 22:46:13

It would be wonderful to choose the clock speed for the day and night cycle, adjusting the time speed to be slower or faster according to each player's preference. | ![]() | 76.51 | 2024-12-28 16:52:22
Large printer: it is not possible to print walkways or platforms to place outdoors and connect the exit of one airlock to another airlock of separate bases and buildings. Walkways could also be used to create roads from one area to another, and the same ramp for the airlock should be usable and placeable on the platform, but with the ramp available in wider sizes. They remain locked. However, there are others already in the game, like the Kilopower, which can be built but are locked in the large printer, along with others. I hope to see everything unlocked for use. | ![]() | 82.51 | 2024-12-28 16:49:06

Says inventory full, although there should be enough space to store the apples. It seems only to be one tree in the medium dome. I can harvest from the other apple trees. Maybe a "status" problem (growing<->fully grown)? | ![]() | 59.96 | 2024-12-28 15:25:07
The Rover is well-suite for long exploration trips, where you'll shelter in the vehicle overnight. However, I feel silly to take a tipper on such excursions since I'm not out to retrieve ore, nor do I fancy driving around with an entirely empty trailer. The other containers aren't much more fitting either for such occasions. Can we please have a dedicated exploration trailer module? Not sure what such a module would actually be useful for, other than just roleplaying immersion, but here are a few ideas: Maybe it could have space for the Mars Bike or ATV, so that we can set up a base camp someplace, and take day trips into any less accessible terrain nearby. Maybe it could have another small room featuring a basic 3D printer (like the ones in emergency capsules), any maybe even a workbench to fix our tools. Or it could feature some bells & whistles that would come in handy when setting up a temporary base camp far away from home; an inbuilt battery+transformer combo maybe, or even a deployable solar panel. | ![]() | 60.01 | 2024-12-28 15:10:36

Can we please have a "sleep until the current meteorological conditions improve" option? We can already do this currently by sleeping an hour at a time and checking if conditions have improved, but it's an annoying hassle. Therefore, such an option would not reduce the challenge posed by the game, but would improve QoL. | ![]() | 29.97 | 2024-12-28 13:50:30

Big Rock Crusher improvement suggestions: - Provide hard-point input connection for O2 at utility panel, along with output connection at cargo deck for more convenient connection of rover O2 charging. - Provide second fuse at utility panel with power output connection at cargo deck for more convenient connection of vehicle power charging. - Provide new tab at inventory management screen to facilitate recycling of refined products (plates, pipes, screws, etc.) back into raw materials, rather than having to use the crusher bin. | ![]() | 29.97 | 2024-12-28 11:15:05
The current rules for how power and fluid resources are drawn from different sources (e.g. via the multiple inputs of a transformer or pump, or via the mutiple building inputs of a base) make it very difficult to set up a reliable redundant resource supply. Say you have wells 1 through 3 connected to the respective inputs of a pump, and your base's minimum needs exceed what a single well can provide. Then the pump will always draw from well 1, making it impossible to accumulate any water reserve in its inbuilt tank, and well 2 may also struggle to accumulate a reserve due to also being tapped constantly, while well 3 will eventually be sitting there idling with a full tank, its production capacity ceasing to be utilized. Should a meteor then destroy well 3 during the night, you'd have only well 2's meager reserves to draw from. And should well 2 also be destroyed, you'd be left with a well that had never accumulated any reserves ever. If instead consumers would draw from all inputs simultaneously (ideally even prioritizing inputs that currently have a well-filled storage), all wells would get the opportunity to accumulate reserves, and even if you were to lose 2 wells to a meteor strike, the remaining well would still have reserves to last you for a bit. Essentially the same scenario applies to electricity. It's a bit less of an issue there since you can throttle the output of a battery to force it to accumulate a reserve, but it means you will have to hurry and change battery settings if any of your battery banks are taken out, so that the remaining batteries can compensate for the lost supply. | ![]() | 60.01 | 2024-12-28 09:19:28
Inventories still seem to be bugged. After saving and reloading, my Rover's inventory - which had a couple of items in it - was completely wiped empty. | ![]() | 60.01 | 2024-12-28 03:05:02 |
